Redefining Cloud, Network and Data Security with SASE
The SASE model converges SD-WAN, network security, and user Zero Trust Access into a global, unified cloud solution.
SASE is a new design model for enterprise networks defined by GARTNER in 2019.
This is an evolution of network architectures and corporate security that allows IT teams to offer a global, agile and sustainable service to support all digital uses.
By 2027, more than 60% of organizations will use the cloud to transport and secure their data.
By 2030, the SASE [Secure Access Service Edge] model will have been fully adopted.

Definition of SASE
Secure Access Service Edge
SASE (Secure Remote Access Service) is a new category of enterprise network technology introduced by Gartner in 2019. Such a service provides the convergence of network connectivity and security functions into a unified global cloud solution. This is an evolution of network architecture and corporate security that allows the DSI to offer a global, agile and compatible service with digital transformation.
The SASE stands out as a lever of transformation in several areas.
Solving new operational challenges with products from different vendors leads to technology silos that are both complex and expensive to acquire or manage. Complexity slows down the IT department and its response to operational needs. The SASE changes this paradigm thanks to a new Cloud platform, which embeds both connectivity and security needs through a global private backbone in order to connect and secure any resources (WAN, cloud, mobile and IoT).
SASE is a convergence of connectivity and security that optimizes speed of access, reduces operational complexity and enhances security on a global scale. To meet these criteria, a true SASE solution must be based on a cloud and dematerialized architecture, distributed worldwide with many points of presence (PoP) and supporting all elements (sites, users, clouds and applications).
SASE allows companies to reduce the time to develop new products, launch them to market and react to a changing business environment or competitive landscape.
