From detecting a signal to restoring access, Identity Guard coordinates protections to secure the company while preserving the way it works.

Paris, 16 September 2026 — SASETY announces the launch of Identity Guard, its managed service for the dynamic protection of digital identities.

By bringing together signals from security technologies, Identity Guard assesses the risk associated with each identity, orchestrates protective measures and supports a controlled return to normal.

The service will be presented at the Rencontres SASETY on 24 September 2026 in Lyon.

Cloud, SaaS applications, mobility, technical accounts and AI agents are multiplying access to the information system. A compromised credential can give an attacker the appearance of a legitimate user and open access to sensitive data or business-critical processes.

For IT and cybersecurity teams, the challenge is to turn detected signals into consistent actions: deciding which identity to protect, which access to restrict and when to restore normal use.

Identity Guard aims to automate and coordinate these decisions according to the level of risk associated with each identity.

Graduated, contextual and reversible protection

Identity Guard links security events to the identity concerned and its context: role, usage, accessible resources and any repetition of risky behaviour. An exposed password, a compromised mailbox or geographically incompatible logins can thus trigger a change in protections.

Depending on the rules defined with the company and the technologies integrated, the service can strengthen multi-factor authentication, limit certain traffic, restrict access to SaaS applications or suspend rights, including those of AI agents.

This adaptation relies on five protection levels, called DEFCON, ranging from normal operation to blocking the identity in a crisis. Measures evolve automatically with the risk and are gradually relaxed once corrective actions have been verified.

For example, when a compromised password is identified, Identity Guard can coordinate stronger authentication and restrict sensitive access. Once the password has been changed and checks completed, the service supports the gradual restoration of normal use. The goal is to contain the threat while limiting unnecessary business interruptions.

From defining the rules to running them

Identity Guard combines technology integration with operational support. SASETY defines with each company the rules for changing protection levels, connects the technologies involved, then qualifies events, supervises actions and follows up on remediation.

Depending on the agreed scope, the service relies in particular on Cato Networks, Silverfort, Mimecast, Pentera and Microsoft Entra ID technologies. It links their signals and complementary capabilities to coordinate the protection of access, authentication and communications, also drawing on the validation of real exposure.

"Companies already have plenty of security alerts. The challenge now is knowing which protections to apply, to which identity and when. With Identity Guard, we automatically adjust these protections according to risk and apply a gradual return to normal once the threat has been dealt with." — Jérôme BEAUFILS, CEO of SASETY

A service that complements the SOC

Identity Guard complements the visibility of the SOC, which retains overall supervision of the information system, investigation and incident response management. Identity Guard provides a per-identity view of risk, coordinates the associated controls and supervises the conditions for restoring trust.

This approach covers the challenges of both human and non-human identities: employees, contractors, service accounts, machines and AI agents. It aims to bring security decisions closer to the company's usage and business needs.
